Kaizen Sports Announces the Creation of a New Division, and Addition of a Proven Leader

Penticton, British Columbia, (CANADA) - Kaizen Sports & Entertainment Ltd. is very proud to announce the creation of a new Division for Women’s Ice Hockey, and to announce as well that Alexis Woloschuk has joined Kaizen Sports & Entertainment Ltd. to oversee this newly-established Division.

"We are committed to assisting young women athletes advance their careers just as we help young male athletes,” said Managing Director Michael O’Rafferty

Kaizen reached out to find an inspiring leader for the new Division, and is very happy to be able to announce that Alexis Woloschuk will champion this Division.

O’Rafferty said, “We are really excited to welcome Alexis to our group. I am certain she will have a life-changing impact on aspiring student-athletes and on the future of women's hockey."

Woloschuk was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and attended Boston University on a women's ice hockey scholarship. BU very obviously made a very good decision to bring her there. She became a three-time NCAA Hockey East Champion. Alexis graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Health Science), and is a certified personal trainer.

From 2010 to 2012, Alexis spent time with Hockey Canada, and was involved with the Women's Canada/USA Hockey Series. Upon graduating in 2016, Woloschuk signed with HV71 of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) in Jönköping, Sweden. Currently, she plays independently for the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA).

Alexis has a wealth of experience both as a collegiate Division 1 athlete and as a professional. Her duties at Kaizen will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Women's Hockey Division, while at the same time developing its vision for the future and seeing to its growth.
