Polei Re-signs with Bakersfield Condors of AHL

Penticton, BC (Canada) - Kaizen Sports & Entertainment Ltd. is pleased to announce that client Evan Polei has re-signed an AHL Standard Player's Contract with the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League (AHL).

The 22-year old native of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, has quickly become a fan favourite since joining the Condors in 2017-18. Polei spent his junior career with the Red Deer Rebels under the tutelage of Brent Sutter and staff.

Polei split his first professional season between the Condors and their ECHL affiliate, the Wichita Thunder. He posted impressive stats in his time with the Condors with nine points (4g-5a) in 30 games. He also led his team with six fighting majors, second most for an AHL rookie.

"Evan has gotten better each and every season and, this past year, was exemplary," said Managing Director Michael O'Rafferty. "The American League is a challenging level, night in and night out. He has earned his newest contract and we expect he will earn an NHL contract in the near future.
