Kaizen Sports Agency Names Scott Marchant as Director of Sport Science

Penticton, B.C. - Kaizen Sports Agency is proud to welcome Scott Marchant as its new Director of Sport Science. With over seventeen years of experience in hockey and athletic therapy, Scott brings a unique skill set that aligns perfectly with Kaizen’s commitment to continuous improvement and athlete development.
A former player turned performance specialist, Scott has served on the team side as Head Athletic Therapist for both the Vancouver Giants (WHL) and Vancouver Whitecaps (MLS). He has worked closely with several Kaizen athletes over the years, earning a reputation for his sharp insight and innovative approach to training and recovery. As founder of Accel Health & Athletics in Vancouver, Scott’s focus on injury prevention, performance optimization, and rehabilitation has made a lasting impact across multiple levels of sport.
“Scott’s journey is a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence,” said Michael O’Rafferty, Senior Managing Director of Kaizen Sports Agency. “His out-of-the-box thinking - viewing the body as a pulley system where everything is connected - has already helped many of our athletes perform and recover to a higher level. In his new role, Scott will lead Kaizen’s sport science initiatives, integrating strength and conditioning, recovery, and return-to-play protocols to support long-term athlete performance. His addition reinforces Kaizen’s mission to help players train smarter, recover better, and perform stronger - on and off the ice.
Scott lives in Vancouver with his wife Carla and their three children, Mason, Lynden and Lachlan.
